About The Outreach Academy

The Outreach Academy is a lifelong learning service for adults with a learning disability.  It focusing on delivering structured learning in a friendly, supportive environment, bridging the gap between traditional day centres and accredited adult education courses.

We offer a range of courses developing life, work and social skills and promoting health and wellbeing.

As students build skills and confidence, they have opportunities to access a progression pathway through our enterprises, community volunteering placements and supported work traineeships.

Explore our courses on the website or download our programme.

Contact us for a chat.  You can call 01245 268 303 during office hours or email us requesting a call back.

One of our friendly support staff will contact you to find out more about you, your abilities and needs, and which courses are of interest.

We will arrange free taster sessions so you can try our courses before you enrol.  You can bring along a carer or family member.  If you need a more gentle introduction to The Outreach Academy, we will arrange a visit so you can experience our Centre and watch activities going on before joining in.

When you have decided which courses you would like to take, we will send you a personalised enrolment form.  Once this is returned, we will work with you to plan your support and identify your learning goals.
