In!Catering's PopUp Cafe is serving Plentiful Platters - Root Veg Crisps, Leek & Potato Soup with a Cheese Scone and Apple & Blackberry Crumble Topped Tart - for just £5. Plus their usual menu of sweet and savoury snacks.

October Carers Connect
Teeth brushing and mouth hygiene can often be challenging for people with a learning disability, leading to poorer oral health.
There are services and resources that can help and on Monday 5th October our Carers Connect session will feature advice from our lovely friend Sam at Community Dental Services CIC.
This session is open to adults with a learning disability, parents, carers and professionals.

PopUp @ Mencap Centre
Our next PopUp @ Mencap Centre is on 15th October, 10am to 2pm.
We're celebrating Black History Month, with our popular themed platters. Our In!Catering team have come up with an amazing Plantain and Pepper Platter, including creamy peri peri dip with salted plantain crisps, black bean soup and cornbread, and pineapple upside down cake!

December Carers Connect
Scams and fraud schemes are always evolving and adults with a learning disability are sadly more vulnerable to these crimes.
On 7th December, we'll be joined by David Gillies, a Counter Fraud Specialist from the Essex and Kent Serious Crime Directorate, who will be telling us about the latest scams, how to stay safe online - and what to do if you have concerns.
David will also be showcasing a new video book about the issues.
